Salvatore Bruno

<p> Sal is Chief Investment Officer at IndexIQ, where his primary responsibility includes developing and maintaining the firm&apos;s investment strategies. Prior to joining IndexIQ, Sal was Head of Quantitative Strategies at Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM). Sal was also a Director and Portfolio Manager for a U.S. large-cap core equity mutual fund. The fund&apos;s strategy combined traditional fundamental equity research with a multi-factor quantitative model in a disciplined, risk-managed process. Sal earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from New York University's Leonard N.
